“As I evaluated my next venture, I wanted to create a positive impact on people’s lives,” Glass said in a statement. “Ginger.io is a perfect fit — a phenomenal team of people transforming behavioral healthcare through a unique combination of high-quality clinicians, a beloved product experience, and expertise in data science. I’m excited to continue to grow the powerful platform that the team has built, and expand access to support for people when they need it most.”

Former Prime Minister of Estonia Taavi Rõivas is joining cryptocurrency fitness platform Lympo as chairman of its board. The company, which gives users tokens for finishing fitness challenges to purchase sports and wellness products, was founded in January, according to Crunchbase. Rõivas currently serves in the Estonian parliament and led initiatives in the digital space during his tenure as Prime Minister.

“Lympo’s mission is one that I can easily relate to,” Rõivas said in a statement. “I ran my first marathon because of a challenge and have been a passionate runner ever since. I have seen many startups and know well that the key to success is to have a great team. Lympo’s team is one of the most inspiring, and I am certain that Lympo has huge potential.”

DarioHealth has tapped Olivier Jarry as its next president and chief commercial officer. In this position, Jarry will lead the team in global revenue generation, including B2B sales and data monetization. Prior to this role Jarry was the global business head at Bayer Diabetes Care. He also worked with Novartis in Europe, India, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

"Throughout my career, I have been committed to three primary goals in healthcare: improving medical outcomes, reducing costs, and enhancing the patient experience,” Jarry said in a statement. “In my view, DarioHealth delivers on all three by leveraging its digital health solutions to serve people living with chronic disease. I believe DarioHealth is positioned to become the clear leader in digital healthcare for diabetes.”

Baltimore-based telehealth platform WellDoc has appointed Daniel Garrett to its board of directors. Garrett comes to the board after working as a digital health transformation consultant and partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a specialist in analytics, digital, and cyber technology.

“While I’ve seen many digital health companies come and go during my years with PwC, Welldoc has remained steadfast and vigilant in its pursuit of developing innovative technologies that are clinically proven to transform the lives of patients living with chronic diseases,” Garrett said in a statement. “I look forward to working with Kevin, the Welldoc team, and the industry in my new role on the board.”
